in the prestigious Great Taste Awards 2010/2011.
The Great Taste
Awards, organised by the Guild of Fine Food, is the acknowledged
benchmark for speciality food and drink. It has been described
as the Oscars of the Food and Drink Industry and the epicurean
equivalent of the Booker Prize.

The
judging for the Farm Enterprise Award was based on evidence
of awareness of market requirements, of working with others
in the supply chain and an awareness of key market drivers
such as localness, distinctiveness of taste and high animal
welfare.
